Contest - Healthy Vegetables
This is an internet contest of the Deaf Access Program, as part of the "Win With Good Health" and "I Can Take Charge of My Life" programs.  This contest runs from February 12, 2010, to May 31, 2010.

Read the brief information below, then answer the one question at the end.  E-mail your answer to DeafAccesshealthclasses@hotmail.com, with your name.  (To send your answer, do not click on our e-mail address; go to your internet mailbox and send your answer to our e-mail address.)

The first person with the correct answer will win a $10 gift card. The 10th person with the correct answer will also win a $10 gift card. One entry per person.

Read this information:

Vegetables are an important part of a healthy diet. They have important vitamins and other nutrients.  Most vegetables have few calories, so they help you keep from gaining weight.  You should eat 3 - 5 servings of vegetables every day.

Examples of healthy vegetables include:

- broccoli
- spinach and other greens
- squash
- peas
- beans
